Bon Voyage Auntie Pam! - Posted by Rob
While the weather was poor all week, we had fine company with Pamela! I took a half-day at work today for Andrew's birthday party. For lunch (while Andrew was still at school), David and I joined Pam (and Grammy Mount) for lunch at Grammy's house. It was nice to spend some quality time with Pam before she left for Europe. Have a great trip!
As i mentioned above, Andrew's "school birthday" was today (we'll have a family celebration later up at camp). I took quite some time to figure out what he wanted to do. There were lots of choices including "Pizza Putt" (indoor mini-golf and play structures at a pizza joint), Gymnastics, movie, or party at home.
In the end he decided on a movie. The local movie theatre in Essex has a private room for birthday's. Then after the party you get to enjoy a movie. All the kids get popcorn, candy and soda. We watched "Over the Hedge" -- highly recommended.
Happy 6th Birthday Andrew!

Go Andrew! And farewell to Pam, who came over here to take Brittany out for dinner and a movie. Safe trip and good luck in Germany.
